MATTHEW G. GREIG
Practice Area: Veterans Disability Benefits
U.S. Army Captain
Community Leader
Veteran Ally
Matthew G. Greig knows what it means to serve. A former Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, he started his career with XVIII Airborne Corps, helping fellow servicemen and women with family, estate, and tax matters. His service took him to Iraq and Afghanistan where he advised commanders and allied forces on legal matters.
After six years in the field, Matthew went into private practice with a multinational law firm based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. His heart stayed with his fellow servicemen and women though. As a former trustee of the only active VFW post in New Orleans, he helped veterans with all sorts of legal problems. He even served on a committee to raise funds for restoring a WWII PT Boat.
Matthew knows the sting of having a VA claim denied. He’s been there. That’s why he fights tooth and nail for his clients. He went into law to help veterans find a way forward after a VA denial, and he’s brought that same dedication and passion to our team at Werner, Hoffman & Greig.
Matthew is a VA Accredited Attorney.
