Shannon Pina has a long history of legal experience in Florida, including complex construction defense litigation and workers’ compensation at multiple law firms. Her responsibilities have included drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery and depositions, mediation, client development, and staff supervision. Shannon has worked closely with insurance adjusters to investigate the validity of claims. Her extensive work has allowed her to deliver legal presentations on workers’ compensation at various conferences.
She has also worked as an in-house attorney and Vice-President for her family-owned medical equipment company, overseeing its legal aspects.
Shannon is a mentor with Taking Stock in Children, assisting and encouraging her mentee’s academic needs and promoting higher level success. She also volunteers with 2 Kids 4 Books, a charity that provides books for underprivileged children, and received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for her work in the community.
