Edward N. Port has dedicated his career to helping people regain control of their financial futures. After beginning his legal career in the Broward County State Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor, Edward realized that his true passion lay in serving individuals struggling with debt. He transitioned to private practice, where he represented major creditors like Ford Motor Credit, GMAC, and Autonation. However, he soon felt compelled to make a more direct impact on people’s lives by representing those in financial distress. For years now, Edward has focused on guiding clients through bankruptcy and debt relief options. His goal is to help individuals emerge from debt with a stronger financial foundation, offering solutions that are both compassionate and legally sound.
Edward’s mission is to dispel the myth that bankruptcy ruins lives. Edward N. Port began his academic journey at the University of Miami, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Real Estate/Finance in 1990. His passion for the law led him to pursue his Juris Doctor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1993. This solid educational foundation in both business and law has equipped Edward with a unique perspective on financial and legal matters, enabling him to offer insightful solutions to his clients.
Edward’s legal career began at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office, where he worked as a prosecutor. After gaining valuable courtroom experience, he transitioned to the private sector, representing major creditors such as Ford Motor Credit, GMAC, and Autonation.
